Grappa at Saint Lawrence's night
"Calici di stelle"
"Calici di stelle" (star goblets) event gathered over a million wine-lovers in 300 italian piazzas: the event was promoted by "Movimento Turismo del Vino" and wide room was made for the National Grappa Tasters Club (Anag), where lovers and beginners got a chance to increase their knowledge about distillates.
A tasting desk, offering some giovani (young), invecchiate (aged) and aromatizzate (flavoured) Grappas, was dressed in the beautiful setting of Rosazzo Abbey in Manzano (Ud).
Several fruit-based spirits from the local area were also available for the most refined palates.
An extraordinary success marked by the beauty of the sky and the delicacies of the earth.
