Rhubarb
Herbaceous plant from the Poigonacee family whose aroma is well-used in the production of the amari range of grappas. The best rhubarb comes from China, Mongolia and Tibet. The European variety, although having very similar features to the oriental one, lacks the medicinal properties of the other.
