Ingredients:

1 kg firm and ripe cherries
250 g sugar
1 l Grappa
50 g water
3 cloves
A little bit of cinnamon

Preparation:

Put the sugar and water in a saucepan, melt and let the syrup cool.
Meanwhile, thoroughly wash the cherries, drain completely and dry.
Cut the cherries in halves, and put them in a jar with cinnamon and cloves.
Pour the Grappa and syrup.

Notes:

Store it in a cool dark place for at least two months.
